01
Read your garden.
Understand the light, soil and exposure. Notice where plants thrive, where water collects and how the seasons change the way your garden grows.
A private gardening session, in your own garden. We work alongside you to understand your outdoor space, practise useful skills and build the confidence to care for it yourself. From your first seedlings to an established border, each session begins with your garden and what you would like to learn.
In Megève, Praz-sur-Arly, Combloux, Saint-Gervais and the surrounding villages, Alpine conditions shape every decision. We help you read the soil, light, altitude and seasons, so that what you learn makes sense at home.
WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER
01
Understand the light, soil and exposure. Notice where plants thrive, where water collects and how the seasons change the way your garden grows.
02
Choose a position, plan manageable beds, prepare the soil and make the first sowings or plantings. Discover crops suited to the space, altitude and time you can give them.
03
Learn to choose a place for a plant, prepare the ground, plant thoughtfully and support its establishment. Explore combinations that suit your garden and its surroundings.
04
Practise watering, weeding and mulching, learn to recognise what plants need, and understand when gentle pruning or seasonal tidying is appropriate.
For a complete beginner, a curious gardener or someone getting to know a new home. Come on your own, learn as a couple or share the discoveries as a family. We agree the content around your interests, experience and the people taking part.
For second-home owners, sessions can be planned around your visits. Learn the tasks you enjoy doing yourself, and how they fit with a Care programme between stays.
01
Share a little about your garden, your experience and what you would like to learn. A first kitchen garden, a planting project or everyday care: there is no need to arrive with a finished plan.
02
Together, we define the themes, duration, suitable time of year and anything to prepare. You receive an individual quotation before confirming.
03
We look, explain and practise together in your garden. There is time to ask questions, repeat a gesture and understand the next steps you can take yourself.
The garden sets the rhythm. Sowing, planting, pruning and preparing for winter happen at different times. We adapt the session to the season, weather and conditions on the day.
No. We begin with your experience and the questions you bring. The aim is useful, personal guidance and the pleasure of learning by doing.
Yes. A first kitchen garden, a border you want to replant or understanding seasonal care can be the starting point. The scope is agreed before the session.
The duration and price depend on the programme, location and any materials required. Everything is set out in an individual quotation before you confirm.
We agree this with you in advance: access to the garden, suitable outdoor clothing and any tools or materials needed for the activities.
A workshop can accompany a new Creations project or help you understand the care of an established garden. We can also combine private workshops with a Care programme, around the tasks you want to take on yourself.
Tell us about your garden and what you would like to learn.
